Report Fakes!

Fake Jordans

It’s about time all the real Jordan Heads step up and put an end to all the fake / counterfeit Jordans, right? Anytime you see a site that sells clear Jordans, or Sponge Bob Jays, or Obama Retros, or Michael Jackson Jay-O’s, don’t just shake your head and move on – REPORT THEM! Just send an email with all the details about where you found the fake kicks to: Counterfeit@Nike.com

Be sure to read the story about when Big Boi (OutKast) was tricked into buying fake Jordans.  It just goes to show that anyone can fall victim, but just because they’re expensive doesn’t mean they’re authentic exclusives.  Do your homework and spend wisely.

    - maybe it’s not about “what’s in it for me” or “what’s Nike gonna give me in return” and more about stopping shady websites from selling fake Jordans to unsuspecting people that think they’re real…

  31. Nate says:

If Jordan made shoes that the general public could afford then people would not have to buy from other websites..

  32. Stupid says:

    @Nate
That’s because authentic Jordans are made with expensive material like kevlar and titanium and they last a lifetime, unlike fake Jordans, which are only half the price, but last only about 3 months

  33. Lem says:

I don’t condone fakes however I don’t hate on people who have them. I mean not everyone can afford a $100+ pair of shoes. Being a 32 year old Jordan shoe enthusiast I can relate to the days when I wanted my first pair in the mid 80′s. Mom wasn’t having it.

If they had fakes back in the day I may have gotten some. Then again maybe not. But either way you have to let people do them. But the purchasing and selling of fakes is a rampant problem and will continue to be one.

As long as Nike keeps making Jordan there will be someone to steal the pattern and mass produce an inferior product. To those of us who care about the history of the shoe it’s an outrage but to those who just want a jumpman on their feet it’s no big deal.

So basically it is what it is. There are definitely more important things to worry about.

  34. Derek says:

I think the website Airjordanlock.com is a fake website from china. Do not buy from there

  35. mike says:

most people buy fakes for the same price as authentic j’s the fake sites need 2 stop.

  36. MJ says:

Fake Air Jordans or “Variants” as they’re misleadingly called by the people who sell them are a much bigger issue than most people realize. Now hardcore collectors out there can tell the difference between Authentic Air Jordans and Variant Air Jordans, most of the public are ignorant to the difference. Many companies claim to produce Air Jordans, every once in a while us well-known sneaker websites are solicited by companies (mostly in China) that claim to manufacture “wholesale” Air Jordans in bulk for as little as $15 a pair. These are fakes. Whereas Authentic Air Jordans may have once been produced at some of these factories with a real Nike contract, nowadays most of these companies are producing fakes with stolen molds using much cheaper materials. These Jordan Variants come in ridiculous colorways that never existed (and that should never exist), but also very realistic copies of existing colorways. The most common Air Jordan Variants are the Air Jordan III, the Air Jordan IV, and the Air Jordan XI. These Fake Jordans are mass produced in bulk in every most line of Air Jordan and Nike though.
