Here’s some pics of the latest PHLY to come from the Air Jordan shoe line. The PHLY concept is dope, but we don’t foresee a lot of this color scheme selling…or do we? The Aqua 8s weren’t predicted to sell that many but they became an overnight sensation and instant classic. For those that want more info about these Black and Purple PHLYs, they feature a black and white leather construction along with a perforated heel area. They also sport light purple accents on the stitching, shoe laces, and midsole area. For those of you that are not familiar with the shoe, the Air Jordan PHLY was created to honor Clifton “Pop” Herring. PH was Michael’s coach at Laney who cut him during his sophomore year, but then drove him to school at 6 AM every morning for extra practice in hopes of bettering MJ’s skills for his junior year.
