Michael Jordan selected for NBA Hall of Fame
Magic Johnson once said: “There’s Michael Jordan, and then there is the rest of us.”
His Airness, the man, Michael Jordan…is finally going to be forever immortalized on Sept. 10-12 in Springfield, Massachusetts, at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Hands down the best player to grace the courts of the NBA, it was easy to elect Michael Jordan into the Hall of Fame. For those who lost track, Jordan has six NBA championship rings, five MVP awards, two Olympic gold medals, has made 14 NBA All-Star appearances, and has his name on the sickest pair of kicks to ever scuff the court, and subsequently the most famous shoe brand on the planet.
Before being elected into the Hall of Fame alongside a handful of other Hall of Famers (pictured below), Michael Jordan played in the NBA for 16 years: 15 years with the Chicago Bulls, one with the Wizards. As of this post he is co-owner of the Charlotte Bobcats.
