Customized Lakers 6s
When we originally saw the Lakers 6s we had to pass. Don’t get us wrong, the 3M is absolutely amazing… the black/charcoal grey colorway is a smash… but the purple/yellow stitching ruined it for us, and a lot of other Jordan collectors! After you take a look at the images below, we’re pretty sure you might have a change of heart, just like we did. A Jordanhead used a Pigma Brush with black ink (found at Michaels for about $3 – see image below) to carefully cover the original stitching, and the result is nothing less than perfection! We couldn’t help but nod our heads, crack a smile, break out the credit card, and order up a pair of the Lakers 6s so we can do the same!
If you missed the Lakers release date (May 15, 2010), no worries… You can still cop a pair of original Lakers 6s with purple/yellow stitching over at SneakerBum. $135 for authentic Lakers VIs (while supplies last) AND you get Free Shipping with Code: JORDANDEPOT
via OriginalJs over at NT.

Blacked out are hot. I still prefer the original stitching. Personally I like the contrast. Doesn’t hurt that I’m a laker fan even though they commemorate the time MJ BEAT THE LAKESHOW.
5 pics no heals? What did u do? The AIR in all black?
@SoleAssassin
Great question. As of right now, the purple/yellow “AIR” has not been covered in black with the Pigma Pen, but we’re sure it can be done with another half hour of work…
very comfortable!!!!
no lie, when i saw them that was the first thing i said, all u gotta do it color in the stiching and you got a dope pair of jordans, I did the same thing with my retro olive ix’s i had a few years back, but i dyed them, not marker. nice to see the result, wish i would have grabbed them.
