Police donate fake Jordans

Any true Jay Walker would scoff at the idea of allowing fake Jordans (also known as replicas, bootlegs, knockoffs, variants, wookies, Air Gordons, etc) to even exist…but you may want to rethink that after reading this. Police in Pennsylvania are donating almost 400 pairs of fake Retro Air Jordans to various charities. The sneakers were confiscated from a Jonathan K. Washington Jr., 34, who was trying to sell them out of a retail store called “Bling Bling Fashions” on Northampton Street in Easton, PA. He copped a plea and agreed to fork over all the bootleg kicks so that the charges would get dropped. LAME – he got off weak! Long story short, Easton Pennsylvania Police are doing the right thing and giving them to the Boys and Girls Club, the Children’s Home of Easton, the Bethlehem Housing Authority and the Salvation Army of Allentown. I understand how some feel it tarnishes Jordan Brand, but look…what’s done is done. It’s not like they’re illegal mp3s that you can just erase off a hard drive. These are tangible goods that should go to the needy because they are the last ones to care whether designer footwear is real or not.

It’s definitely better than just destroying them. I don’t support the buying/selling of fake Jordans, but if they’ve already been made, why not make the most of it? Kudos to the police.
At least the sneakers are being used thats good. Im tired of people buying fake jordans. But everyone cant afford new jordans like others so this topic goes many ways.

Yea Im kinda half an half on this i mean cause look,i joined the bos and girls club for free becuase i used my moms income to get ,when in fact she doesnt work, WHO really knows if those kids are needy i know that if i were to be offered fakes that place id say no cause i hustle for my real jays, but if they REALLY are going to need kids i guess i would agree but i still think all wookies should be destroyed
