Fighting over Concords?

We thought the days of fighting over Jordans were done? After seeing the video below, we were wrong… Granted, tempers flare around the Holidays – everyone’s anxious to get their Christmas shopping over and done with, and for many, one of their last gifts are the Concord 11s that dropped today. Unfortunately some people use this as an excuse to act ignorant, selfish, and childish. Check out this video footage from YouTube of a group of people getting into a fight while camping out for Concords. We don’t know about you all, but acts like this just make us sad for the entire community of real sneakerheads out there. There’s too many resellers and fake sneakerheads ruining it for the rest of us. Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments section below.

Custom Air Jordans

Let’s face it, fake Jays are becoming an internet epidemic. Whether you’re scrolling through Google, Facebook, or Twitter, Jordan shoe collectors are constantly bombarded with links to sites that sell bootleg Retro Jordan kicks and high heels. Even celebrities like Big Boi and Soulja Boy are getting called out for buying Jordans in colorways that have never been released by Nike/Jordan Brand… And if you remember, a while back Drake got a lot of heat for wearing some purple Retro Vs that were said to be fake. But after digging around we found out the Air Jordan 5s that he was photographed in were in fact authentic Metallic Vs that had been customized by a sneaker artist from Canada. Custom Jordan sneakers are quickly becoming a way for sneakerheads to set themselves apart from everyone else, and now that Miz from MizzeeCustoms is on the scene, the possibilities are seemingly endless. Take a look at 4 pairs of authentic Air Jordan 6s that he recently customized into some classic colorways like Bordeaux VIs, Cool Grey VIs, Raptor VIs, and White Cement VIs. We think the detail and time Miz put into the White Cement 6s deserve a standing ovation, and we’d definitely cop these if Jordan Brand dropped these as a general release!

A few years ago Playboy released a special issue featuring models wearing all kinds of sneakers, and this time around they have chosen to focus on the most popular shoes of all time, the Air Jordans.
