Air Jordans on the Court – NBA Player Exclusives

The biggest basketball news of last night happened on campus where #4 Wake Forest upset #1 Duke University at the buzzer. More than likely, former Wake Forest basketball players Josh Howard and Chris Paul were proud of their alma mater’s win. However, these two former Demon Deacons made some news of their own by hooping in some nice, exclusive-to-the-court Jordan sneakers last night.
Against the Denver Nuggets, Chris Paul laced up the Air Jordan 23 “Old Love” to coincide with the throwback uniforms of the ABA New Orleans Buccaneers. If you recall, this exact sneaker was released to the public last year in May. Is this colorway better than the Alternate Air Jordan 23 Paul wore with this jersey two weeks ago? On the other hand, Dallas Mavericks forward Josh Howard became the first player in the NBA to lace up the Jordan Ol’ Skool on the court. Inspired by the Mavericks colorway, this sneaker featured a predominately white upper with blue and grey accents on the sole, tongue and heel. Although this colorway never hit retailers, the Jordan Ol’ Skool released to the public last year in November.
