Rioters steal Jordans

While Kobe and the rest of the Lakers players were celebrating the 2009 NBA Championship, Lakers fans were busy rioting and looting Michael Jordan’s shoes. The Holy Grail is a shoe store that specializes in vintage sneakers including all sorts of Air Jordan heat. Richard Torres, owner of the Holy Grail shoe store, arrived at the scene about an hour after the game ended, only to find that almost 800 pairs of Jordans and other shoes were stolen. Torres estimates a loss of around $140,000 and was forced to close shop while he repairs his shop. “It makes me not want to be a basketball fan,” Torres said.
